An STI is an infection that can be passed on through unprotected vaginal, anal or oral sex, genital contact or sharing sex toys. Anyone, of any age, who is sexually active can contract an STI.

The only way to know you have an STI for sure is to get tested. Contact your nearest Spectrum sexual health clinic to book an appointment. We also offer drop-in clinics for young people at certain times.

Not everyone who has an STI gets symptoms, but if you are experiencing something unusual to you, please visit a Sexual Health Clinic for an STI test.
